Watts Neighborhood Council was represented by President Cartashia Perkins, Teresa Jasso and Amada Valle at National Night Out in Turtle Park at Jordan Downs, 2179 E Century Blvd on August 6, 2024. Everyone enjoyed the live DJ, free pizza and tamales while getting to meet their LAPD officers. Kona Ice gave out free slushies.
National Night Out against crime is an annual event to build community police partnerships.
