November 16, 2019 Councilmember Buscaino joined with Streets LA and community leaders to break ground on the $4 Million Central Avenue Streetscape project which will make improvements on Central Ave between 97th Street and Imperial Highway.
The Watts Streetscape project brings 54 trees, repaired sidewalk, curb ramps, high visibility crosswalks and more!
Together with his wife, Lt. Emada Tingirides, they created the Community Safety Partnership in Watts, a program that was recognized by President Barack Obama and is being replicated both nationally and internationally.
